The Real Review has announced a new consumer tasting event to the wine-loving public of Melbourne and Sydney. The events will showcase The Real Review Top Wineries of Australia 2021, which has become an important annual event in the wine calendar. Each day will offer three tasting sessions, a masterclass and a lunch presented by principal wine writer Huon Hooke at an iconic location.
The Top Wineries of Australia 2021 was published in full on The Real Review on June 4. The top 52 of these were announced in a feature in the Good Weekend magazine published in The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.
More than 30 of the Top Wineries of Australia 2021 have been invited to showcase their wines at the consumer tasting events, which will be held on 28 November at Harbourfront Seafood Restaurant and Campbell’s Stores, in Sydney, and 20 November at Longrain and Longsong, in Melbourne.
Celebrity chef Scott Pickett (Longrain, Matilda, Estelle, Pastore and Pickett’s Deli & Rotisserie, Melbourne), Good Food editor Ardyn Bernoth (Melbourne) and Good Weekend editor Katrina Strickland (Sydney) will make guest appearances.
The ticketed events are limited to 100 guests per session for the winery tasting, 60 for the lunch and up to 30 for the masterclass in each city.
