Champagne can be light, delicate and refined if based on chardonnay from the famous Côte des Blancs through to more complex, structured blends dominated by pinot noir from vineyards across the Montagne de Reims… and then there’s rosé, an entire category of its own. There’s an intriguing variety of tastes and sensations in Champagne.
