Another fantastic night was had for our second Vinosocial 2021. This time the theme was Anything But Chardonnay.
It is Sauvignon Blanc Day on Friday 7th May, nicely coinciding with The Real Review LIVE tasting of eight top Marlborough wines.
The theme of our dinner was ‘food’ wines: wines that go best with food, and perhaps the lesson was that most wines go well with food, but the experience soars to a higher level if the wine and food are thoughtfully paired.
Surrounded by vineyards and with spectacular sea views with Cape Kidnappers in the distance, it is hard to imagine a more attractive and appropriate setting for our third New Zealand dinner.
This year’s Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction will be held at Toitoi – Hawke’s Bay’s Arts & Events Centre on Saturday, September 18th.
