Cheesefest + Ferment festival
If you adore cheese, plus all things fermented, don’t miss the combined festivals of Cheesefest + Ferment held in Adelaide this October.
The festivals will run over the weekend of the 27th and 28th in Rymill Park, also know as Murlawirrapurka, on the eastern edge of the city.Enjoy ‘speed tasting’ sessions to see how cheese pairs with various beverages, including wine, beer and gin!
Sample and purchase a wide range of cheese, wine, beer, cider and spirits. There will be over twenty Australian cheese producers represented plus a ‘French Quarter’ serving fromage, charcuterie and Champagne.
There will also be free cooking demonstrations by Matt Preston, chef Simon Bryant and Masterchef alumni Jessie Spiby and Callum Hann. Karena Armstrong from the Salopian Inn, Sharon Flynn from The Fermentary and Josh Kim from Level One Electra House will also be sharing their culinary knowledge.

It’s a family friendly event, and there will be live music across the weekend.
Tickets purchased before the event are AUD $25 per day or AUD $40 for a weekend pass. Children aged 15 and below, when accompanied by an adult, are free. As tickets cost a little more on the day, and there’s only a limited number available at the door, it’s best to secure a ticket in advance at the Cheesefest website.
