Pobblebonk is another captivating wine from Quealy of the Mornington Peninsula. Named after a frog none-the-less, which inhabits the Balnarring Vineyard during springtime.

Pinot grigio, friulano, moscato giallo, riesling and chardonnay are fermented together to create this spirited, unique and expressive wine.

Five varieties are fermented together to create a complex wine with bright lemon, bread crust and passionfruit nuances. The palate is a melange of flavours and textures, as well as being warming, spicy, weighty and textural.

Pinot grigio, friulano, moscato giallo, riesling and chardonnay are fermented together to create this spirited, unique and expressive wine. They complement each other, yet each has its own voice that sits in harmony with the others.

Every taste reveals a different nuance making it a thrilling wine to drink. It is perfumed, crisp and rich all at the same time.

A true Kathleen Quealy wine, full of plot twists and imagery.

The 2016 is available direct from the winery for AUD $30. Best to get in quick as I can’t imagine it will be around for long.
