Bright and bubbly

Arras Brut Elite 1301 NV, Tasmania, AUD $50

This is mainly pinot noir, based on the 2013 vintage, with reserve wines going back to 2010, and 42 months on lees. The colour is light and bright; the bouquet creamy, nutty, toasty and almond-scented, with background citrus fruits. The palate is bright and zesty with precision, balance and freshness. Excellent.
