Supple and slinky
Yalumba Vine Vale Grenache 2015, Barossa Valley, AUD $35
A new release from vines planted in 1949. It’s medium to full red in colour with a trace of purple. The bouquet is earthy and spicy with subtle foresty nuances. The texture is gorgeously supple and slinky, with almost lush fruit sweetness and soft tannins. It’s dangerously drinkable. (13.5 per cent alcohol; cork)
