Wine of the Week NZ

Bell Hill Pinot Noir 2014, North Canterbury, NZD $120

Tasted alongside the second label Old Weka Pass Pinot Noir, this wine clearly has greater intensity and complexity. Elegant wine with more savoury, spice and stem character. A wine of subtle power with a typical chalk and mineral influence from limestone-rich soils. Impressive now but with serious potential. (Screwcap)
