Wine of the Week AU

Wynns Coonawarra Estate Johnson’s Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Coonawarra, AUD $80

This sublime wine comes from the oldest cabernet vines in Coonawarra, planted in 1954. It’s youthful and restrained, taking time to emerge in the glass. Berry and violet aromas of great precision and intensity, very subtle oak, great elegance and harmony, the tannins so supple that it drinks beautifully already. (Screwcap)
