VIN Diemen comes to Sydney and Melbourne
Want to immerse yourself in all things Tasmanian? Tickets are now on sale for VIN Diemen, one of the hottest food and beverage events on the calendar.
Now in its third year, the event is looking better than ever. Sample wine, cider, spirits and food, including Bruny Island Cheese, Shima Wasabi and products from Robur Farm Goat Dairy, Meander Valley Dairy and Nichols Poultry.
The Cell Block Theatre at the National Art School in Darlinghurst is the venue for the Sydney event, held on Saturday 12th August. The Meat Market is the place for the Melbourne celebration the following day. Festivities will begin at 11 am and conclude at 5 pm.
Early-bird tickets are available until July 1 for AUD $50 (after this date the general admission price is AUD $60). Included is a Plumm wineglass, yours to use and take home. Or choose a VIP ticket for AUD $100 which will give additional privileges including early entry into the event, a glass of Tasmanian bubbly on arrival, a food voucher and entry to the food and wine masterclass.
Enjoy vinous treats from Bream Creek, Delamere, Tolpuddle and Holm Oak to name but a few. There is also beer from Bruny Island and sheep whey vodka from Hartshorn. Though when passing the Blackman Bay Oyster stand, make sure your glass is filled with a fine Tassie riesling or a stylish local fizz.
There is limited capacity, particularly at the Sydney venue, so best to get in quick. Tickets are available through the website. Also, visit their Instagram page @vin_diemen for inspirational snaps from last year’s event.
