It’s all over. The world’s craziest song contest was won by Portugal with the song ‘Amar pelos dois’ (Loving for the both of us) performed by Salvador Sobral and written by his sister. This is the first time Portugal has been in the top five placings… after 53 years of participation.

182 million viewers worldwide watched the contest, a few down on last year but still a decent muster.

New Zealand wine producer Invivo was the official wine supplier this year. We’ve never taken part in the actual contest, although Australia was granted permission to enter in 2015.

Invivo shareholder, Graham Norton, hosted Eurovision’s UK coverage this year.

Good on ya’ Invivo. You shine brightly in an industry that suffers from being a little too conservative and gloomy.
