Hearty red

Tim Adams The Fergus Grenache Tempranillo Malbec 2014, Clare Valley, AUD $24

This is a well-structured red, which drinks well now with hearty foods and will cellar superbly. Fresh raspberry, tomato and mint aromas, with good palate intensity and firm tannins. There is richness and fruit sweetness as well. Oak plays a background role. (Screwcap)
