Wine of the Week AU
Quealy Pinot Grigio 2016, Mornington Peninsula, AUD $30
The aroma of this wine entrances me from the start. Open and inviting, the quince and ripe pear scents are engaging and delightful. The palate is warm and inviting with significant spice and refreshing acidity. Bright and textured, with a gorgeous pithy grapefruit vein, this is an excellent food wine.
A wine of character, personality and vitality, made from a blend of three 15-20-year-old vineyards. Highly recommended.
