Book now for Marlborough Wine & Food Festival
With only a few weeks to go tickets for one of the country’s major wine and food festival are selling fast. 8,000 people are expected to attend this year’s Marlborough Wine & Food Festival at the Brancott Vineyard on February 11th.
This year’s festival features 42 Marlborough wine producers, 20 food stalls and music from Supergroove and Holley Smith.
Well known Kiwi chef Annabelle White, along with MasterChef New Zealand winners Karena and Kasey Bird, Bradley Hornby, from Marlborough restaurant Arbour, and Sydney chef Monty Koludrovic will be cooking up a storm in the culinary pavilion.
For attendees that wanted some culinary education the festival also had two master classes, called ‘Drink Pink: Think Cheese’ and ‘Queen of the Grapes: King of the Seas’.
The master classes cost $42 on top of general admission ticket prices for the festival, which are available from Ticketek for $55, as well as the Blenheim i-Site, Blenheim New World, The Vines Village, Wino’s and the ASB Theatre.
The weather has been fine in 32 of the past 33 events, according to organisers. Let me guess, 1995?
(This year’s event does not include a grape stomp)
