Bremerton Special Release Mourvèdre 2014, Langhorne Creek, AUD $24
Mourvèdre is a tricky variety to get right but Bremerton have produced a delicious drop with their 2014 release. The wine is soft and bright with an appealing energy. There is a perfect amount of earthiness alongside the ripe berry fruit. The tannins are gentle and fine, allowing the wine to be enjoyed now as well as in the future.
As it is a special release wine, it is only available through Bremerton’s cellar door – so if you find yourself in South Australia, visit the winery direct, or place an order through their website.
