Escarpment Kupe Pinot Noir 2013 was ranked seventh in the annual Top 100 Wines chosen by influential magazine, Wine Spectator, from 20,000 candidates in 2015.

That’s quite an achievement for New Zealand, Martinborough and, of course, for Escarpment. It comes with an invitation for Escarpment founder and winemaker, Larry McKenna to address 1000 wine enthusiasts at the NZ$3500-a-head New York Wine Experience.

Other New Zealand wines in the Top 100 are Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2014 (21st), Felton Road Pinot Noir 2013 (48th) and a wine that has made the list many times, Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay (53rd).
