Mighty malbec

bodega-cuarto-surco-latente-reserva-malbec-2014Bodega Cuarto Surco Latente Reserva Malbec 2014, Argentina, NZD $38.50

A more concentrated version of the regular Latente label with sumptuous fruit that has the density and a vanilla, chocolate/mocha character of liquid fruit cake. Super-smooth and surprisingly drinkable (some top level malbec is, to me at least, a little over the top in terms of intensity and fruit sweetness). (Cork)

Rioja wine region is an excellent article ,would you have one on Priorat which is a gem of a small region in southern Spain.

Terry, if you enter Priorat in the search window of The Real Review you’ll find three articles there that I posted between mid-2015 and Feb 2016. Wonderful wines!
