Date for the diary: Waiheke Wine & Food Festival – Saturday April 2nd
Meet award-winning winemakers and passionate foodies at a great day out on Waiheke Island. A unique opportunity to taste wines from 15 different Waiheke Island vineyards in one location – Te Motu ‘The Airstrip’, 78 Onetangi Rd, Waiheke Island.
Music, wine and food all day from 11 am to 5:30 pm. Inspiring food choices, local producers and food trucks, matching superbly with Waiheke wines. Live musical entertainment throughout the day, including renown musician Nathan Haines.
Waiheke winemakers will be giving wine education talks at defined times during the afternoon. Buses will run from the car and passenger ferries to Te Motu ‘The Airstrip’ and return.
Ticket price includes the ferry, bus, a wine glass, lanyard, festival flyer and a glass of wine on arrival.
In addition to this main Festival Day event, there will also be many wine, food and music events happening at individual vineyards during the Festival week.
