Jean Reverdy et Fils Sancerre La Reine Blanche 2013, $38-$45
A textbook example of Sancerre, more flinty and mineral than varietal sauvignon blanc, and more complex, with hallmarks of lemon, herb and honeyed, slightly rubbery fragrances typical of the region. It’s racy on the palate and seriously delicious. (13 per cent alcohol; cork.)
