Pizzini Sangiovese Shiraz, King Valley 2013 $19
The colour is deep and youthful and the bouquet shows darker fruit aromas, with black plum and spice, and the sangiovese dominates. It has body and amplitude followed by a dry but balanced tannin aftertaste. There is appealing savouriness and some sangiovese character. The tannin quality is firm and Italianate.
