Schmölzer & Brown Prêt-à-Rosé, Beechworth 2015 $27
This is a complex, savoury style of rosé with density and textural grip. There are nutty, meaty aromas, perhaps partly derived from barrel fermentation, and despite its delicacy, the palate is very long, with a touch of textural grip. It’s made to go with food. It’s my kind of rosé. (13.5 per cent alcohol; screw cap) Score: 92 ★★★★ – view on huonhooke.com
