Marlborough plans to open wine school
Marlborough Boys’ and Marlborough Girls’ College have submitted proposals to teach year 12 and 13 students level two and three NCEA in wine production.
They hope to run the new courses at the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) campus in Blenheim. Their proposals have the support of the Marlborough District Council and NZ Winegrowers. Students graduating from the level 2 and level 3 NCEA could then progress to NMIT for a bachelor of viticulture or wine production.
