Wine Of The Week
Stonier Pinot Noir, Mornington Peninsula 2013 $28
This is an outstanding edition of Stonier’s entry-level pinot, such is the quality of the 2013 Mornington vintage. Charming rose-petal, dried herb and strawberry aromas. The flavour is rich and fruit-sweet with delicious balance and good intensity. Its lingering sweet cherry flavours are far from simplistic. (Screwcap; 13.5 per cent alcohol).
