Wine Of The Week

Parker Coonawarra Estate Shiraz, Coonawarra 2013 $24

The colour is deep, dense purple-red, the aromas are very ripe blackberry and black cherry with a lacing of pepper. The flavours are lush, almost decadent; dense and fleshy, rich and full-bodied. Lots going on here, but the superb texture and balance are key features. (Screwcap; 14.5 per cent alcohol). Score: 95 ★★★★★ – view on huonhooke.com
