Join me for a Pinot Noir masterclass
Pinot noir lovers (aren’t we all?) are invited to my pinot noir masterclass, co-hosted by Michael Dhillon of Bindi (tastings), on Tuesday February 24 from 6pm to 8pm. We will be serving 12 leading-edge wines in pairs and billing it as a comparison between Australian and New Zealand wines. A comparison, that is. Not a competition!
All the wines will be very good, but the styles will provide many fascinating contrasts.
Regions to be explored are likely to include Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley,Geelong, Tasmania, Adelaide Hills and Macedon Ranges, and from across the ditchMarlborough, Martinborough, Central Otago, Nelson, Waipara and Canterbury.
MichaelDhillon is not only a great winemaker but one of the most thoughtful,
articulate and charming people in the pinot fraternity, where interesting
light food will also be provided.
The Grace Hotel, central Sydney. Cost: $105.
