Cherubino Porongurup Riesling, Porongurup 2014 $35

Porungurup is a sub-region of the Great Southern, famous for the finest of rieslings. This pale wine has a fresh, youthful fragrance of lime and tropical fruits. It’s lean and restrained on the tongue; delicate, latent, almost a touch austere. A beautiful wine, great to drink now or cellar. Now to 12 years. 11.5 per cent alcohol. 95/100 – Huon’s Wine 360

Food: pan-fried coral trout
