Passing Clouds Cabernet Sauvignon, Bendigo 2012 $50

This is a big and very tannic, densely coloured cabernet with a slightly aggressive rawness that screams “Leave me alone for at least five years!” Tar and black-olive aromas with oak riding above nascent black-fruit flavours. Powerful, driving and intense with a massive grip. Best 2018-2042. 14.3 per cent alcohol. 90+/100 (Huon’s Wine 360)
