McGuigan’s Peter Hall crowned Hunter Valley Winemaker of the Year
With 35 vintages under his belt, including 22 in the Hunter, Hall’s award is recognition by his peers of his great contribution to the region and wine industry. He reckoned that he’s processed over 106,000 tonnes of Hunter fruit since 1979.
The award comes hot on the heels of the announcement in London that Hall’s McGuigan Bin 9000 Semillon has won the international semillon trophy at the 2013 International Wine Challenge for the third consecutive year. The winning vintage, 2005, is available at cellar door for $65.
