Australia’s latest master of wine

Sydney’s Alison Eisermann is Australia’s latest master of wine, and joins the elite club that now numbers 304 in the world, spread through 28 countries.

Eisermann was for several years the winemaker at Monument Vineyard (tasting notes) near Orange. These days, she is a wine educator in Sydney and Hong Kong.

In Sydney, she lectures at the Sydney Wine Academy and Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute – in Hong Kong at the Asia Wine Service and Education Centre. She’s been a panel chair at the International Wine Challenge for the past six years.

She is Australia’s 19th master of wine.
