Giesen The Brothers Land Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough 2012 $21

I’m not a big fan of cheap Enzed savvy, but if it’s your bag, this is a good example, fairly priced. It has dusty, cut-capsicum, radish aromas, fresh and clean, if rather vegetable-accented. The shrill finish carries tart acidity. No doubt better with food. Best young. 13 per cent alcohol. 86/100 (Huon’s Wine 360)
