Tahbilk Viognier, Nagambie Lakes 2012 $20

The aromas are typical viognier with elements of spiced honey, but it’s not over the top or heavy. There is richness, though, and depth and density but it retains freshness and easy drinkability. The texture is a highlight, with a slight grip to close. Best drunk young. 13 per cent alcohol. 89/100 (Huon’s Wine 360)

Food: chicken with cream and mushroom sauce
